Protest and Rave (fundraiser)

I'm busy all day today even though I only have two events scheduled in... scheduling multiple things into one day is always so difficult I feel. I always underestimate or overestimate how long it'll take me to get from A to B, or how long something will take me. I try my best to allocate my time, but I seem to always spend longer than I originally thought I would at one place or working on one task. I truly never feel like there's enough time in the day to do all that I want or need to... (｡ᵕ ◞ _◟).
Anyways, today I first went out to be part of an antifascist protest organised within my groups, counter-protesting the anti-migrant right-wing 'patriots' outside the local hotel that shelters asylum seekers and migrants. I wish these people would be open to learning more and understanding that people much more disadvantaged than them who are trying to survive and fight for a better life in a new country are not the enemy and cause of their issues. Especially when a lot of these people come from countries that have been pillaged by 'the west', colonialism leaves lasting impacts.
The protest went pretty well! Only four people on the anti- side showed up, they were completely outnumbered by us. We had a lot of cars driving past honking in support of us (we had a sign that said 'honk against fascism') and giving us supportive gestures like thumbs-ups and cheers! It was very motivating and I'm glad people do care. I met some cool people too :3. One person I met likes Land of the Lustrous / Houseki no Kuni and Witch Hat Atelier!!! This person knows ball!!! I texted him later and found out we have other interests in common too such as Gnosia and Apothecary Diaries :p. I caught up with some of my other friends also and made sure to say bye before having to regrettably leave early with my friends.
Just before me, Jay, and Ais were about to head off though someone ran past and chucked an egg at us and it hit Ais D: !! Her jacket, shirt, and trousers all got egged... she was okay though, hopefully she managed to wash it out...
After the protest I went back to my room to continue preparing for tonight's fundraver (fundraiser rave)! It'll be my second time vending tonight, I'm so grateful for the opportunity and I hope I can contribute a good amount to the cause!
I tried making some new ice cream hair clips! I originally wanted to use embroidery floss to create the wafer texture for the cone but I was in a rush so I just resorted to ribbons after messing up the first one weh... but it's okay! I'll figure it out for the next one.
I think I should try using small brown beads for the chocolate chips next time but since I'm unsure of how it'll look from the side I'll have to test it out :'3.
I made some smaller apple and clover hair clips too with felt, buttons, beads, ribbon, and lace!
They feel very Yue don't they hehe...
Quickly made a blue jellyfish one to experiment... not the best so I'll do better next time !!!
I wanted to wear a sweet lolita coord tonight so I wore my AP Chess Chocolate OP with the matching headbow!
One of the tables was broken so I had a really awkward moment of standing around not knowing where and how to set up... they let me set up my stuff behind a bar but it was a really awkward place to be situated because I was above everyone by so much and people could barely see the stuff I was selling haha but it's okay! I sold a few things and it went pretty well :3. I vended next to my friend Aren who also sold some of his super awesome ties and bunting! He brought free lollipops to hand out which was soo sweet and such a good idea. I wanted to do something like that too originally but ran out of time to buy anything T.T !! It's okay though. I have an idea for next time >:3c. I saw a few of my other friends and met some new people which was awesome!

I looked around the other stalls too and everyone else's artwork and crafts were absolutely amazing.
I danced for a bit later in the night since things were ending soon. Sweet lolita at da rave...
I got invited to vend at my friend's event on the 27th (Perilous Palace) and to vend at Ghouls Club again on the 28th! On the 28th I'll have leaflets and flyers to promote my activist and antifascist organisations too! Perhaps the Humanitarian Society newsletter too. Feeding 4 birds with 1 scone :D. Super excited!! Better get my assignment done and start working on crafts :3.
