I promise I have thoughts everyday I just tend to text them to people instead of putting them here. When I feel like typing a piece up it'll be here...

THIS EXACTLY. I was talking about this kind of ethical principle in my first microblog here.
Itβs been one of my principles for so long and I just wish more people understood this principle and why someone would stick to it.

It's honestly so important to know and remember that people cannot be definitively defined as 'good' or 'bad' people. We are all people that do good and bad things, and capable of both kindness and cruelty. We always have a choice in how we act and being conscious of being the kind of person we really want to be to both ourselves and others is so important.

28.05.2026 Me and my friends/comrades are slowly progressing through The Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon together in our organisation's reading group. It's been a pretty good read so far, I definitely need to look up more about the history that Fanon refers to in his writing though, I'd get a bit more out of what he's saying that way but I think he makes it pretty clear in the text anyway.
I got on the bus after attending the de-colonial reading group and the bus driver was the kind old man that always talks to me!! Since it was just us on the bus we had a nice little chat and before I got off he said that the best part of doing this job is the people he gets to meet :). He was telling me how amazing it is to meet all kinds of people from everywhere and how kind, fun, and wonderfully different people can be and that I stood out to him haha and he knew that from our conversations I held a similar sentiment. I love people and humanity so much and I love talking to people and other people that love meeting other people too⦠thank u sweet mr. bus driver u always make my day or evening depending on when I see u⦠sometimes he drives me out in the morning and drives me home at night. I hope I get to see him on my bus rides in the next academic year too when I move back⦠our interactions are fleeting but the warmth I feel from them are forever, and surely these interactions will forever be cherished memories to me.

30.04.2026 Read the Filton 6βs closing speeches for their retrial today and honestly teared up. The average actionist who puts everything on the line, believing in the possibility of saving even one life, is so much more inspirational to me than anyone will ever be. Their speeches were incredible, I sincerely hope the jury finds them not guilty.

Thinking about having my own bookstore + cafe in the future again if I ever save up enough money to purchase or rent a property for itβ¦ Iβd like an independent (actually good) clinic attached to it too I think.

I wish I could open up a bookstore with a cafe with my boyfriend... we'd have so many different books and a section of our favourite and most revered works too! For the cafe, I'd love to come up with drinks and cute desserts and mains, with plenty of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free options too! I'd definitely want to do themed events too (I love collab theme cafes). It'd be a queer, disability, and poc friendly space. Also being part of activist groups I've found that a lot of cafes want you to pay to use their space which is 100% fair, but if I had a cafe I'd love to do collab events with activist groups to drive action, community, and change :3, use the space for free as long as you guys keep up doing what you're doing to fight for meaningful change...

Iβm very glad I was able to grow and move from self-limiting self-deprecation to genuine useful self-criticism for improvement, and genuinely striving towards the improvement I wanted too! I think it made me more aware of my behaviours and the actual impact my actions and words have rather than just beating myself up over something or just getting defensive and getting nowhere, helping no one. Iβm able to reflect on situations more objectively and actually grow as a person! I think it definitely shows in the nature and nurture of my current connections and the longevity of all my good friendships! I appreciate all my long-term friends so much and how nothing stupid has ever torn us apart.

03.04.2026 One of my inherent values is that even if I hate someone and they hate me Iβd still go out of my way to help them and support if they are in my vicinity and local community and are in trouble or really struggling with something major. Unfortunately, sometimes people are very stubborn and would certainly just get frustrated with meβ¦ sometimes I wish I could just stop caring about certain people but I just hate seeing people struggle especially if they are struggling alone so much. I never have any qualms with offering help to others.
