My First Ever Convention!!
I went to my first ever comic con!!
The morning of the day was kinda rushed and hectic and full of a few mishaps… but even though me and my friend needed a few last minute touch ups for our cosplays we managed to make it for the train on time! I did end up getting my cosplay dirty really quickly though and I was in a bit of a prickly mood… maybe Xie Lian’s bad luck rubbing off onto me because I’m in cosplay..!? Just kidding!!
I went with my friends Nin and Prince, while we were switching trains we ran into a luo xiaohei cosplayer!! I think the Mandarin I spoke to them was not the best but I need to speak it to more people other than my dad anyways… We went to the convention together and headed directly into artist alley because it was the part we were the most excited for!
Immediately saw other cosplays of MXTX characters and got quite a few pictures with them!! I saw so many more than I expected...

I also saw a Makise Kurisu cosplayer which was fun, they told me no one else had recognised their cosplay thus far aw... she's one of my cosplans too since it'd be rather simple to cosplay her and I like her :3.
I bought more than I thought I would at artist alley and spent a bit over my budget due to getting too excited being at my first ever con... and I just love art and artists and trinkets so much !! I bought a few things for my boyfriend and friends too :D

Mid con I was told by my friend I received the “craziest messages ever” and lo and behold... since my friends saw parts of the messages before me in real time, they wanted to read it all with me. I let them read from the very start with context and let them form their own opinions on what was being said without me defending myself and they were on my side...!!! ToT. Honestly, the messages didn't ruin my day at all even though I did cry on the train because I was trying to defend this person's perspective while my friends had to sit down and tell me from their perspectives that I was being treated unfairly... T_T.
A lovely person on the train saw me crying and tried to subtly slide tissue across to my friend to hand to me it was so sweet… she ended up handing it to me directly and I thanked her of course… I still think of her because she was so kind.

My first con experience was super fun and I'd love to go to another one in the future :D !! Hopefully I can be more responsible with my money and not get consumed by the excitement of being at a con for the first time... There are also so many cosplays I'd love to do :D. I am grateful for the experience and fun time :).
